Ans). We currently have native support for Fanuc, ABB (only Monitor+) andUniversal Robots. We are in the process of adding support for Kuka,Yaskawa and Kawasaki.
Q). Do I need one Olis Connect unit per robot?
Ans). Yes, you need one Olis Connect unit (and monthly plan) per robot tomaintain continuous monitoring. This unit can be remotely accessed bymultiple users simultaneously.
Q). How many cameras can I use with Olis Connect?
Ans). The maximum number is 3. Olis Connect ships with 3 USB webcams butthe unit also works with most Genicam USB cameras (inquire for details).
Q). Can I trigger email alerts from machines other than industrial robots?
Ans). Yes, Olis Connect email notifications with video attachments can betriggered from machines and PLCs using a simple TCP socket interface.
Q).Can we use our existing VPN instead of Tailscale?
Ans). Yes, Olis Connect can be configured to work with most VPNs.
Q). What are the bandwidth requirements?
Ans). For optimal video streaming of 3 video feeds we recommend at least4Mbit. Use a speed test to verify the available bandwidth at your facility.
